Amanda has strived to be a storyteller her entire life. When her degree in theater leaves others disappointed, she begins creating on an entirely new canvas — inside the wrestling ring. While training for her first indie match, she discovers her true voice. Through triumph and tragedy, victory and injury, Amanda learns that passion may be the most universal story of all.
David Kuznicki (pictured) is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker who has spent a decade working in the PBS system. His first show, Reverence: Life in the Ballet, was nominated for a regional Emmy award and was distributed nationally by American Public Television. In 2011, he was invited to participate in the PBS Producers Workshop at WGBH. Kuznicki has produced a number of programs for WGTE, including A Gift of Life: The Jobs Story, Apple Corps: The Grand Rapids Applebutter Fest, and most recently, Cherry Street’s Mission, as well as editing the hour-long War of 1812 in the Old Northwest. His independent documentary Stony Ridge has screened at film festivals nationwide.
Greg L. Mercer is a writer and producer from Toledo, Ohio and a recent graduate of Ohio University. Mercer has worked on a number of programs for WGTE Public Media with David Kuznicki. Mercer was an associate producer of Cherry Street’s Mission.
